Workshop: Poetic Images Through Painting and Collage

MOTIVATION:

Look at the book "Beast Feast" to discuss the medium used (paint), how the author/illustrator used color, shape, details, pattern and texture to illustrate the poems.  How did the author use words to convey a feeling or movement?  Do you notice something that every painting has in common? (border, title, aninmal etc.)  Create a class list.
